DLSPH Collaborative Programs


The University of Toronto's Collaborative Programs are multidisciplinary programs that involve a wide range of graduate departments across the institution. Students enrolled in a collaborative program are graduate students from a variety of disciplines who elect to specialize in a particular concentration. Students in a collaborative program must meet all the requirements of their home department in terms of course work, practicum, and/or thesis, in addition to taking the specialized courses of the collaborative program.  Some collaborative programs are open to students in both the professional (MPH*) and research streams (MSc/PhD). Please check with the specific program for details.

Collaborative Program Requirements:

  • All usual requirements for the degree program in the home department
  • A thesis topic or practicum placement relevant to the collaborative program (depending on the degree requirement)
  • A thesis supervisor or member of the thesis committee, depending of the program, must be appointed to the collaborative program
  • Each program has specific course requirements

The Dalla Lana School of Public Health participates in the following UofT Collaborative Programs:

*known as the MHSc degree prior to September 1, 2009.
