Biostatistics Division


Students are trained in the theory and practice of biostatistics. They are given experience in all aspects of data analysis, which includes understanding of the process generating the data, data inspection, the graphical and formal testing of the assumptions of statistical models as well as the more theoretical aspects of hypothesis testing.

Potential employment opportunities

Potential employment opportunities as research assistants, suitable for both Masters and PhD students in the Biostatistics program, are available within the local research community. For more information contact the program director.

Biostatistics Union of Graduate Students (BUGS)

BUGS is an active social and educational organization run by Biostatistics students.
